This is a photo of the headquarters of Abim district, found in North Eastern Uganda. Shocking is all our sources said when handing us the photo of the complex.

The Ugandan Parliament has been churning out new districts in a bid to bring services closer to the people. The challenge is how to convince the world that any services will be got out of the huts seen in the picture.

Complex One (closest to camera) – Department of Social Services.
Comples Two (next outward) – Department of Education.
Complex Three (the one after the next) – Department of Agriculture and Veterinary.
Complex Four (sandwiched between Com. Three and Com. Five) – District Chairman’s Office.
Comples Five (third from last) – Office of DISO.
Complex Six (second from last) – The CPS (local Admin Police).
Complex Seven (first far left closest to Camera left) – Department of Health.

The two mountain peaks in the background are part of the Great Otuke Mountain range.

The one of the right is Abim Summit, and the other one is Got Summit.

You can’t have it all , at least now you don’t have traffic jam , going from one department to another , besides you can do all your business from one department to another within a walking distance, while you enjoy the view at the back, as long as there is no wild animal roaming around looking for some snack

The only thing they need to do is to drop the English names they ‘re giving these buildings , and came up with their local names, they can even brag building a whole Headquarter in one day , environment friendly

This was an opportunity to show their ability

mugenda mu maaso ebirungi biri mu maaso
